I have been in the mobile DJ industry since the late 1990's. I started out
as an assistant to one of the best mobile DJs in Arizona. I learned how
to assemble equipment, diagnose equipment problems, maximize sound quality,
and use the equipment for performance. Most importantly, I learned how to
make weddings, private parties, corporate events, and other celebrations
fun for all of the guests.
When it comes to school dances, I have a record of stellar performance.
I balance the music tastes of the students with the need for the school
to be a safe, comfortable environment to make for a great, fun party with
music clean enough for radio play. My background in various music styles
and dancing styles make me great at everything from picking out music for
predominantly Hispanic schools to teaching and leading group dances like
the Cha-Cha slide or Cupid Shuffle. Schools at which I have DJed have included
Sundance Elementary and Westwind Intermediate among others.
The music that I play ranges from classic party songs from the 60s and 70s
to current top 40 hits.
My music is ALWAYS clean enough for radio play. I could post a top party
songs list, but the top party songs are the songs that everyone plays.
What separates me from other DJs is that I play great music based
on what the students want to hear. Sometimes, that means a lot of top 40
hits and other times that means a lot of cumbia. Hiring
