Kids this age love to dance to music that they recognize. One big challenge
is that the content of much of that music isn't fit for play at a school
event. I solve a lot of that issue by using the same versions of songs that
are heard on the radio. Your students will be happy because they get to
hear current popular music and you'll have the peace of mind that comes
with knowing that all the music is FCC approved.

Kids this age know a few group dances and really enjoy having a few at the
dance. I have the popular versions of music to go with those dances. I also
know how to lead and teach the dances to get more of your students involved.
